Mission
ACRRA’s mission is firmly rooted in communities’ own laws, land and biodiversity stewardship and sustainable development supported by international and regional legal and policy landscapes that promote Indigenous Peoples rights and cultural protection. The following frameworks are central in ACRRA’s work.
Vision
A continent where Indigenous Peoples have full legal recognition, equitable access, and the ability to govern and benefit from their natural resources, according to their own laws, knowledge systems, spiritual, and biocultural relationships with land and biodiversity.
